Covid has caused us to think out of the box!

We have come up with a new Rowe School tradition: WINTER GAMES

Winter Games is our take on community strengthening, spirit building and friendly sportsmanship.

On Monday March 15th and Tuesday March 16th each student will go outside and participate in three Winter Games during their Specials time.

Cohort A on Monday March 15th and Cohort B on Tuesday March 16th.

WINTER GAMES:

SNOW - Snowball Target Throwing, Sledding and Spoon Snowball Relay Races.

NO SNOW - Ball Target Throwing, Obstacle Course and Spoon Ball Relay Races.

To prepare for the Winter Games each Class will pick a country that represents part of Rowe School’s multiculturalism, learn about that country and create a flag to represent it for the Winter Games.

This will be a fun, educational and community building event.

We are asking for families, friends and neighbors to sponsor a student so that this event is not only amazing, but also a way for us to raise money to help teachers with Project Based Learning, Arts and Enrichment and classroom supplies.

Sponsorships are not on a performance basis, it’s a simple “flat fee” sponsorship in ANY amount!

ALL STUDENTS will receive a Trophy for their participation.

All Games will be Covid safe.

Students should wear sneakers or comfortable walking shoes and be dressed for the outside weather during the Winter Games.

Remote students will have their own day to enjoy Winter Games when students are not at school.
