Navigating elementary math

To better support families asking how to assist with learning at home, I’ve gathered resources that clarify the "what" and "why" of our classroom strategies.

I would like to share insights from Graham Fletcher, the creator of Building Fact Fluency—a core program used across Portland’s elementary schools. His resources explain the progression of mathematical tools and concepts from Kindergarten upward, all of which are directly aligned with our Common Core Standards and the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum here at Rowe.
