Your time can make a meaningful difference for our students and staff!
With 468 students at Rowe, if every family gave just one hour of their time, that would be 468 hours of volunteer support for our school community. Imagine what we could accomplish together!
Interested in getting involved? We’re looking for volunteers to help with the opportunities listed below!

Anyone who would like to volunteer for any Rowe activity will need to complete a the Family Volunteer Application. The process can take up to 2 weeks, and approvals are good and valid for 3 years. Recess Runners will run every Tuesday and Thursday starting September 22 and ending on Thursday, October 22, wrapping up with the PTO-sponsored Walk-a-Thon fundraiser scheduled for Friday, October 23rd.
Volunteer Details:When: Tuesdays and Thursdays (Sept 22 – Oct 22)
Time Commitment: Shifts cover grade-level recesses between 10:45 AM and 1:55 PM

We’re looking for 5–6 parent volunteers to help make our school’s Flu Clinic run smoothly and support our students!
Friday, October 30, 8:30–11:00 AM
Volunteers will help with:
Traffic control and keeping things moving safely
Supporting and reassuring students before and after their flu shot
Providing a little extra TLC and encouragement to help students feel comfortable

Help our teachers and staff with the many little things that keep the school running smoothly. Choose a time that works for you and pitch in during school hours with tasks like:
Organizing curriculum and books
Supporting students
Organizing technology
Helping with classroom events
And more!
Time Commitment: Flexible — just 1–2 hours!

Join us in organizing one of our students’ favorite events of the year! The planning files, resources, and activities are already organized and ready to go—you get to add your own flair and make it your own.
Time Commitment: Solo Organizer: Approximately 15 hours. Committee Member: Just a few hours.
The committee gets to pick the date, choose your time commitment, and help make this year’s event one to remember!

Love Sports?! We are looking for a few family members to help organize high school sports night, Maine Celtics game, and Sea Dogs game this year.
Time commitment: 1-2 hours organizing, plus cheering on your favorite sports team at the game. Sign up to help organize one event or all three!

We’re also hoping to expand our club offerings and welcome family volunteers who are willing to share their time, talents, and interests by leading an after-school club! Whether you love art, sports, science, crafts, games, or have a hobby you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you! Time Commitment: Sessions are for 6 weeks, with clubs meeting once a week for an hour.
